Popsugar Musthave July Review

So, I am addicted to subscription boxes as of late. Today I got my Popsugar Musthave in the mail. It was a nice surprise to come home to. I will admit I forgot to put the cocktail napkins in there but if you like you can check out my unboxing video on YouTube, user name is MommaMisty823.

This box had some cute things in it, most of it I wouldn't have purchased on my own honestly.
The first item is "Sachajuan Hair In The Sun". This is basically an SPF for your hair. It's supposed to protect your hair color, which is nice since my hair lightens in the sun. It retails for $32.00. It's not something I'd normally buy for myself but I might have to give it a try this weekend.

The second item is "Hoise of Pom Emoji Coktail Napkins" which retail for $25.00. These (which I forgot to picture) have different emojis on them and are relatively cute. Again, not something I'd buy for myself, and honestly I'm not sure I'll use them either.

"Michael Stars Porcelain Skinny Scarf in White" retails for $30.00. Finally! Something I would buy! This is a cute versatile scarf that you can use to dress up an outfit. It's softer than I expected it to be, but doesn't have a silky feel. Still this one gets a thumbs up.

"Pintrill Pineapple Pin" retails for $12.00. Honestly I'm not really big into the pineapple craze. That being said this is a pretty cute pin. It suggests that you put it on the scarf and that's probably what I'll do.

"Sunnylife Inflatible Swan Drink Holder" retail value $18.00. This is something I would get a friend that had a pool. It's cute and holds 4 drinks. I can see my kids using it for small toys at the lake this weekend. Or see us floating beers to the adults with it, hehe.

"European Wax Center Oh My Brow! Brow Highlighter in Pearl" retails for $19.00. THIS I can see myself using. I love the sheen to it, it's subtle but very pretty. It says you can use it anywhere you use highlighter. I tried it on my arm and it goes on smoothly and had a silky blendable texture. This is probably my favorite item in the box this month.

"Joe Chips Classic Sea Salt Retro Potato Chips" retails for $1.89. I'm not much of a potato chip fan unless it's baked so I'll probably end up giving this to my husband or kids. The package is cute though .

"Trove Gift Card" is the special extra this month. It's a custom jewelry site. I took a quick glance and it seems to have some cute things. Not sure if I'll use the card or regift it though.

Overall this box had a cute summer theme and I'd probably give it a "B". This is still one of my favorite subscription boxes. If you would like to subscribe click my link:

Jamberry Februray Stylebox Review

Hello all! Another day, another post. This time I will be reviewing Jamberry's monthly Stylebox in trendy. Before we get started, full disclosure, I am a Jamberry consultant. That being said, I wasn't overly thrilled with the designs in February's Stylebox. I liked the bonus wrap more than any of the others.

Just in case you don't know what the Stylebox is, it's a monthly subscription that is $25.00. You take a style quiz and you get matched up with a certain style, trendy, classic, or feminine. You have the option to skip any month you want, but if you choose to get yours you get at least $30.00 worth of products and exclusive wraps.  If you would like to find out more you can click here.
February's theme was "Behind the Design" it's inspired by fashion week designs. In the "trendy" pack there is a color block sparkle and a "floating shapes" clear wrap as well as the bonus shattered glass clear wrap, a nail file and orange stick.
I'm liking the floating shapes and shattered glass one, although I heard not to put too much heat on it when applying your wrap. I'm really hoping that the sparkle color block looks better on than it does on the sheet. I guess two out of three isn't bad.
Until next time, may God bless you and yours.

Hello, it's me again...with a Subscription Box Review. PopSugar Must Have

Hello out there in blog land. I know, it's been such a long time. I wanted to stop in and tell you how my life has changed. I have 2 beautiful children, a girl and a boy. I have a new career and a new home.
So first thing first. I'm going to use this blog as a platform to start doing some reviews (among other things). First review is.....(drum roll please).....

The PopSugar Must Have Box.

This is one of my favorite subscription boxes because it comes with a variety of things, and February's box did not disappoint. The box contained:
  The Tilo Heart Print Scarf:
This is an exclusive design for PopSugar, it's a silk blend and very large. I love scarves and this one is no exception. It's super soft and light weight. I'd say it was more of a spring/summer scarf than a winter one. The colors are neutral enough to go with most outfits, but if you want something colorful I would go elsewhere. The suggested retail for this is $125.00. I'm glad it came in this box, because to me it's cute....but not $125.00 cute.
  The Beautycounter Nourishing Cleansing Balm:
This is probably one of the best smelling cleansers I've used. It even came with it's own little cleansing cloths! This stuff is pretty good and might become a repeat buy for me it took off all of my makeup, even my mascara and eye liner! I have really dry skin and it left it feeling ultra hydrated. So far it hasn't caused any breakouts either, which is something because my skin is really dry, and acne-prone. The suggested retail on this is $50.00, if you were to ask me now I'd say it was a repeat buy, but I've only used it a few times....so only time will tell for sure.
  JewelryStorm Endless Arrow Ring:
It describes it as a "dainty ring", and yes, yes it is. I like it, don't get me wrong, but I'm grateful that i have small fingers. It fits on my ring finger, but just barely. I'm sure that it can probably be pulled apart so that the fit can be adjusted, but when I tired I didn't have much luck. The suggested retail of this is $28.00. I would have bought it if I would have seen it at a store, so I'd say it was a good thing to include.
Fringe Studio Hello Beautiful Square Tray:
I really like this. I do have to admit it's not something I would have bought for myself, although I probably would have gravitated towards it i a store. It's a little thin/lightweight but surprisingly solid (my son dropped it on out laminate floor and it didn't shatter). The suggested retail is $14.00.
Victoria secrets Coconut Milk Hydrating Body Lotion, Sport Socks, and $20.00 Gift Card:
All of these are a win. The lotion smells amazing, and is not too thick, and soaked right into my thirsty skin. The socks seemed nice and cushy but were HUGE on my size 7.5 feet. And the gift card...YYAAAASSS! The suggested retail of the lotion is $18.00, worth it!
  Foodstirs Heart Cookie Mix:
This company was cofounded by Sarah Michelle Gellar....Buffy!!! It's free of artificial ingredients, GMOs, and preservatives. It comes with heart cookie cutters (is it wrong that I want to put a little chocolate stake in it?) I love that they included this because I love to bake, and I it gives me an excuse to bake with my children....subscription box with built in family time! suggested retail of this is $12.95. This may be a once in awhile treat for me, I can't see spending $13.00 on cookies all the time since I usually make mine by scratch.
