Happy Mother's Day!

What is a mother? a Mother is many, many things. If you look closely you can sometimes spot a mother. Her hair isn't always in style or even fixed. Sometimes she'll have stains from her childrens small hands on her clothes. A mother is the one that when there's only 0ne piece left announces that she's not hungry.
I can honestly say that most of the time I fit those descriptions. But you know what, for all of the hard work that comes with being a mother, it is more than worth it. Happy Mother's Day to all of you Momma's out there!

Mother's Day Weekend

So, this weekend has been the BEST Mother's Day weekend I've ever had! I got a ring, a new swim suit and we got this new bed with 2 matching night stands!
Yesterday was a crazy day. I work in a college town and it's the end of the semester so all or the students were coming in to my office. CRAZY!
After I got off of work Christopher and I went into the city, we bought this bed, shopped and then went out to eat. It was so much fun getting to spend time with Claire and my husband. I am truly blessed. I even got to sleep in late today!
Down-side....now I have even MORE furniture to dust. Oh well, you know what they say. A mother's work is never done.

I want! I want! I want!

All right, mother's day is right around the corner. I LOVE mother's day! I've only been a mother for almost 2 years now, but I couldn't imagine not being a mother now. There's nothing else like it.
I have decided that I want something that says "mom" on it this year. Or represents motherhood. So, I have decided on this. I'm hoping and wishing, and praying, that I get it. I LOVE IT! JCPenny has such good deals!
Okay, this weekend my husband and I are supposed to go to Oklahoma City and hopefully getting a new bed! This place is selling a bed with storage, a headboard and two night stands thrown in. We have a tiny house and hardly any closet space, but lots of clothes. I have a hard time throwing some things out. I go from one extreme to another. I'll get on these cleaning sprees and either start throwing everything away, and then I can also get very sentimental and want to keep everything. Oh well. I just hope that I'm not the only one that goes through things like that.
