This makes me SICK!

Okay, not a long blog today. Just wanted to share some information for all of you out there in cyber-land.
Any mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, if you have a kid or know someone who does, or if this makes you as sick as it makes me. Please feel free to share and not shop at Amazon until they agree to not sell things like this anymore.
Okay, my rant is over. This is something that I need to pray about I have decided. Just leaves a BAD taste in my mouth. Until next time, God bless you and yours.

I'll miss this...

I've been off of work since Friday. I have had so much fun being with Claire full time. Even going through potty training drama, it's been so much fun. A bad day with my family beats a good day at work ALWAYS.
I could do this full time momma thing. Too bad the economy won't allow it. We went through potty training boot camp. It was pretty good. She still has some trouble during meal time and nap time. We're going to work on night time training when she fully has the hang of it.
SO,...tomorrow we're going to be sending my little girl to day care in her "big girl undies". Still going to send the pull-ups for nap and meal times. I'm excited!
All I can think about is not wanting to go back to work tomorrow, and wondering how Claire will do tomorrow. So I'll quit blogging while I'm ahead, before I start rambling on about Dora undies, and toddler giggles. So until next time, God bless.

Halloween....

Well, it was a very fun Halloween in this house hold. I took off Friday because the town that we live in did trick-or-treating downtown that day. It was a lot of fun. We took our little Abby Cadabby out to get candy and have fun. We also took some great pictures of on the square.
She had so much fun. She said "or treat", her version of trick-or-treat, and thank you to everyone who gave her candy. There was a mini-haunted house that we went through (it was no more than 8 feet long and 4 feet wide. There was black drapes, spider webs and 3 monsters handing out candy. I was thinking..."This won't be too bad, Claire should be fine." I thought wrong. We walked in, fine, got to the first monster, she got a little scared so we just passed without taking the candy. By the time we got to the second monster she was in full out panic mode, trying to climb up my legs and hide at the same time. So, needless to say/type, we hightailed it out of there.
Then Saturday morning we went to our mommy and me art class. Got to decorate sugar cookies, she LOVES her sugar by the way. Then we headed home to attempt our three day potty training method, which I am making a three and a half day. So far it's very trying. But still crossing my fingers. Until next time, God bless

Let it Rain.

It's raining, it's pouring, this momma is about to be snoozing. What?! Is that not how the song goes? Well, you know what? That's how it's going to go tonight. I've been running around crazy. I think that my work schedule is starting to get to me.
This morning we were supposed to have a meeting and I didn't get the text until i was walking into work wondering where everybody was. As soon as I read the text I started to bawl. I just broke down. Stressed much? I was told hopefully our schedules will be back to normal sometime after the middle of October. It won't come soon enough.
So, on with Thankful Thursday:

1.) Overtime; it makes my check a little nicer.

2.) Rain puddles. Or rather Claire Splashing in rain puddles. Made my day.

3.) DVR. I'm so stinking tired tonight that I'm not going to even watch any of the premiers that I'm so excited to see. So NO TELLING!

4.) My husband. I called him this morning upset. Through out the day he would text me asking how I was. It just really touched me that he took time out of his sleep schedule to make sure I was all right.

5.) Baby kisses, and giggles, and hugs. Or I should say toddler kisses, giggles and hugs. After a hard day I needed all of that.

One Bad Mamma Jamma...

It's official. I love going shooting guns! I was always one of those people who were scared of guns. It's not that I didn't want other people to not have them, I just didn't want to have anything to do with them. Until last Saturday.
Now, I'm in love. I got to shoot and AR-15, a 22, a 12 gauge semi-auto, and a 40 glock. I went Skeet shooting and hit 4 out of 5. I've decided that it's addicting, a stress reliever, and something that I need to do more of.

Manic Monday...

So, another week is upon us. Too bad, the weekend never lasts long enough. What a busy weekend it was.
I had to work Friday, then Saturday I gave blood and had my little girls second birthday party. It was a lot of fun, most of my husbands family was there. My family is mostly spread out so they weren't there.
I'm glad that my little girl was too little to notice that only one other kid was there. Thank you Amy and Brooklyn.
It's pretty sad when the friend that you've known the least amount of time can show up and my other friends that I've known since high school or shortly after can't be bothered. It just kind of upset me. They can't even call or anything. I'm there for every birthday, party, etc. that I get invited to. The only ones that I don't go to are the adult parties and I don't have a sitter.
All right, vent over. It was still a really cute party. Claire would say "cute" every time she opened up clothes. She was so excited about all of the fuss. It's just so sad that my little girl is getting so big. Well, I have to keep cleaning house, so until next time, God bless.

Thankful Thursday

Okay, here's my Thankful Thursday blog post. I know that I haven't posted in awhile, and I'm sorry all of you who read my blog. I just need to get off (or on) my butt and start doing it. It's my way to let my thoughts out. So, here we go.

I am thankful for:

1.) Getting my HYLA vacuum to work. We bought it at a pawn shop YEARS ago. The instruction manual is in Dutch/German. Needles to say, I didn't understand ANY of it. So, I finally got on youtube and looked it up. And...wa-la! It works, and works very, very well.

2.) My IPhone. Just got one a few weeks ago and LOVE it. Seriously, you can't understand the obsession unless you have one. How did I ever function without it? It has my email, my calendar...EVERYTHING on it.

3.) That October is getting closer and closer. We are working so much overtime and after October 12 we can finally have days off. I'm thinking I may need a week off. Doubt it happens, but hey, hopefully it'll be here before we know it.

4.) Christmas. I am thankful for Christmas, it is just around the corner. I am thankful that I had decided to put $10 on a Wal-Mart gift card every time I went to Wal-Mart. Because of that Now there is over $600 on the card. I have a feeling that Christmas is going to be a lot less stressful.

5.) My family. They are wonderful. I had to stay home with Claire yesterday. She didn't feel well but was still a sweetie. She took a nap, and I even got to take a nap. Then Christopher and I got to spend some much needed time together.
