Freaky Friday...

Okay, I'll admit it. I may look like a pretty normal person on the outside, but on the inside.....not so much. I LOVE vampire. werewolf, supernatural things.
I don't believe any of it really exists (unlike some people). I liked to be spooked. Especially when those stories have a love story intertwined in there somewhere. I guess that would just make me a romantic?
So, I've been wanting to see this movie for awhile. I saw that it was on Starz and decided to set my DVR. I'm glad that I did. It was very entertaining, bloody, and good.
So, on another subject tomorrow Christopher, Claire and I are going to Bass Pro Shop sometime tomorrow. Why? I don't know. But that's all right. I'm just glad it's the weekend, too bad it's not a long weekend though. Oh well, I'll just have to count my blessings.

Funky Friday...

Today is Friday (for another half hour or so anyways). Thank God! After a long week, full of small little tasks, house cleaning, dirty laundry, cooking, etc. I am ready for the weekend. I am ready to do nothing. Just sleep, and lounge.
Well, not this weekend. We have to go out of town for a graduation. So, out of town we'll go. We'll get there (way too early) Christopher will go to the shop and work, and I'll go, go, go, do something. Then I'll end up up rushing around and come screeching into the parking lot of our old high school.
Oh well, maybe I can relax Sunday. That's a BIG maybe. I am in some serious need of down time. The only thing is, I feel guilty when I'm not doing something for my family. It may not be something that needs to be done at that moment, and usually it can wait....How do I get over that? That guilt? I do this (blog) for me, but I usually do it in between tasks, and when everyone is out and I'm too tired physically to do anything else.
Oh well, I guess that being a mommy and a wife (and more) is a learning process.....and this mommy and wife is still under construction. So, until next time, God bless.

House Cleaning Day....

It's the weekend. Thank goodness! I've decided instead of either staying at home and sitting on my bootie, or going out and running around I'm going to take some time and clean house. Pretty ambitious, I know.
I got to sleep until 7:45. Which these days is sleeping in. Got Claire ready with her sippy cup and Chris sent off to Enid to work on his blazer. I had the best of intentions, I really did. As soon as I put Claire down for a nap I was putting laundry away....then I started getting sleepy, very sleepy. So down for a nap I went as well.
On the up side as soon as Claire got up I put her in bed with me and we took another 20 minute nap (she is such a cuddle but...I Love it!). Then after wards we had lunch (left over pizza for me and a hot dog and sweet peas for Claire). Now it's back to house cleaning.
Trying to get the house clean totally, and not mess it up again by the weekend. Wish me luck. Until next time, God bless.
